I've been a bit silent here lately. But don't you worry, I'm not getting bored or abandoning this blog. Instead I got a motivation to improve my Zabbix <--> Blender 3D integration from last year. Here's a quick teaser on how it looks like.
Last year during my speech at Zabbix Summit I said I'm not a 3D artist at all, but I integrated Zabbix with Blender 3D software anyway. Well, the 3D artist thing still stands, but I found the fantastic BlenderKit to help even a 3D dork like me to accomplish at least semi-decent interior scenes.
Compared to how things did look like back in October, there's been some slight visual development. And, nowadays I can add those augmented texts to my scenes.
But not all is yet well; the new scene has somehow broken my interactive X3D view.
I gotta get that to work, as the new and improved 3D model is so cool in static 3D images and rendered animations. The living room is not the only modelled location, here's the kitchen, too.
... and my home office from where I'm typing out this blog and doing my work.
Also, there's a bunny! Stay tuned for more.
