TL;DR

My Raspberry Pi 4 home server started showing I/O errors on the SD card in dmesg output, indicating the memory card is wearing out after about 1.5 years of use. While most data runs from an external USB HDD, losing the OS card would still be problematic.

AIEEEE!!! Potential hiccups ahead for my master server, as today I started to observe these in dmesg output after rebooted my Raspberry Pi.

[  330.832267] I/O error, dev mmcblk0, sector 4296024 op 0x0:(READ) flags 0x0 phys_seg 1 prio class 2
[  340.025182] mmc0: Got data interrupt 0x00000002 even though no data operation was in progress.
[  348.220180] mmc0: Got data interrupt 0x00000002 even though no data operation was in progress.

Most of the stuff is being run from an external USB HDD but I guess I better go and buy a new memory card soon, as losing the main server OS would not be fun. I still have my Linux laptop running stand-by Zabbix in case something would go badly wrong.

Anyway, it looks like that the memory card that came with my Raspberry Pi 4 did last for about one and a half years.
